We are currently interviewing accomplished Cloud / software Account executives in the NY/NJ metro area with a track record of success selling DevOps /Application Development (AppDev), Java Middleware, and/or Open-Source software solutions to either Financial Services OR Telco market segments. The selected hire will take over a proven territory of existing customers and Net-new opportunities, and be responsible for sales of the leading Software Delivery Platform for Enterprise.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 experience selling enterprise IT or software software solutions
  • Minimum 5 years recent success selling DevOps /Application Development (AppDev), Java Middleware, and/or Open-Source software solutions.
  • Must have proven sales process and methodology (Playbook) for selling to either Financial Services OR Telco market segments.

Now interviewing for the pivotal role of Founding Account Executive, who, as the first sales hire, will be responsible for expanding the initial customer base and building the foundation for future sales success.

Our Client is a venture-backed startup that has created an AI-powered Project and Planning Platform for DevOps / AppDev teams that plan, manage, and measure work more effectively.  The platform offers real-time insights based on daily activity, driving better planning and work health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work directly with the founders to create the playbook for generating new business. This involves understanding our product thoroughly, identifying target customers, developing effective sales strategies, and managing the entire sales cycle.

  • Articulate the value proposition of our solution through personalized demos and consultative discussions.
  • Proactively prospect to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, ensuring a robust sales pipeline.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain transparent visibility into sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate deal closure.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass established quotas for new deals.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and market insights to drive product enhancements.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of over-quota success in a high transaction (Land and Expand) environment, with initial deal sizes ranging from $10k – $100k.
  • Recent success selling DevOps / AppDev solutions to Enterprise accounts.
  • Prior experience in selling a robust SaaS product within an early-stage startup environment.
  • Prior experience as a BDR is ideal OR proficiency in identifying, pursuing, and engaging prospects to influence their purchase decisions.
  • Ability to effectively engage with both technical buyers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering) and technical users.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and willing to take ownership.
  • Can be located in any US Major Metro
